Blue Star Ferries is one of  the biggest seafaring companies in Greece. It owns modern vessels that cater for routes from Piraeus to Cyclades and Dodecanese. Also, one of its ships connects Greece to Italy.

Blue Star Ferries was founded in November 1992. However, the story of Blue Star Shipping Group starts in 1897 with passenger and cargo transports among Piraeus, Patras, the Ionian Islands and Italy. During the 1980’s and 1990’s the company developed considerably and started being involved in passenger transportation in the Greek islands and abroad.

Today, the company owns 8 ships, 5 of which were built after 2005. All vessels are modern and fast, providing all the facilities you may need during your voyage. Some years ago the company was certified with ISO 9001 for the quality of its services.

In addition, Blue Star Ferries have been certified with ISO 14001 and Blue Star was the first seafaring company that developed an environmental policy.
